Now Casting for a Film Short

 for the Lux Mea Film Festival

PROJECT DETAILS:

NON-UNION: Seeking local talent (Dallas, TX): 1 female actress (30s-40s), 3 boys (8-12 yrs) and 2 girls (8-12 yrs), any ethnicity to act in an 8-minute short film to be submitted to the Lux Mea Film Festival at Grove City College, PA. All filming to be done at 2 locations in the North Dallas area for a total of 4-5 shoot dates (dates TBA: will occur between December 27-January 7). Auditions to be held via video-conference on December 4 and 6.

ROLES:

Harper - Protagonist. A reserved boy who is very studious. He's very curious and has much to learn about the world (8-12 yrs old).

​

Harper's mother - Businesswoman supreme. Has a lot on her plate but carries herself with a sense of put-togetherness (able to play 30-40).

​

Timothy - Boy who is a veteran to the playground and has a mind of his own. Usually pokes his younger brother Andre around and is in charge of much of their daily shenanigans. (8-12 years old).

​

Andre - Fun-loving. Imitates his older brother a ton and a little wilier than his older brother. (8-12 years old).

​

2 extra girls or boys - playmates on the playground (8-12 years old).
